THE MEET IS LOCKED!!! PLEASE SEE THE LAST POST!!
Thats right, after numerous emails, as well as a personal conversation with Jeff Miller, the new car manager at Mark Miller, they have agreed to host our 4th official meet on Saturday, October 18th.
If you aren't already aware, there is a BIG difference between a slimy capitalist dealership that's only interested in taking your money....... and a dealership thats truly interested in supporting the local community of enthusiasts. I think it's pretty obvious that Mark Miller is the latter.
Also, ftlvwrx is headed to Korea for a YEAR shortly afterward, and WTR82 will just be getting back from Iraq.... let's give em a great going away/welcome back!
With that, the details are as follows:
12:00 - Meet at Mark Miller Subaru
2:00 - 3:00 - Fun cruise up to Mirror Lake
5:00 - 6:00 - possible dinner afterward for interested parties?

THERE IS A $6.00 per car fee for the Mirror Lake Highway, please be prepared!

I will have LOTS of business cards printed for everyone, as well as printed copies of the cruising route.

That's it folks.... we've got the support of one of the local dealerships, which is absolutely fantastic. So, drop business cards, invite your friends, bring your kids, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, transsexual/hermaphrodite lovers.... whatever.... just bring em!
Gotta get a good head count of how many cars are going to be there. I'm going to keep in touch with Mark Miller so they know how many spots to make for us.... so KEEP ME POSTED!!

Good to hear it folks... only a couple hours, and we're already up to 11 participants.... this thing could end up being HUGE.
Hey..... where's msAudiA4??? She's in the market for a WRX or STI, right??/ I can't think of a better opportunity for her to trade in.

lol I don't know about that, you're to funny! So ya I'm sooooooo in. It will be me and my daughter, she loves goin for rides in the car. I've been wanting to do a car meet for a long time so I'm stoked. I'm in the market for a WRX for sure but I just don't know if now is a good time to buy with my situation but who knows, we'll talk!
Oh and I was going to throw out an idea for a mini meet before the 18th meet. Every sunday there's a barbeque and live band up at Snowbasin, it's pretty fun! Anyway they're only doing it for 2 more sundays so I thought it would be fun to get some subies together for a cruise up to Snowbasin. I don't know how many people would be interested but I thought I'd throw it out there. _________________ ~Toni~

No worries Toni..... if you're ready to buy, I'm sure MM will hook you up with a good deal. I wouldn't expect a miracle, but if there is a good deal to be had, it's probably there..... we went to over a dozen different dealerships looking for a Tribeca... and walked away from crappy deals at all of them....... and eventually bought from MM.... best deal in the SLC arera or the St. Louis area.
Check out this link..... you can buy business cards at Target for about $5. Copy the image, and paste it on your document...... thats all I do.
