My fastest was an 80' ElCamino with a 425hp 396 BB, Muncie 4spd.... Between tire spin, and the weight of the car..... the WRX is faster 0-60 and in the quarter.

Now.... of COURSE enough HP will end up being faster..... but I think it would take a 450+ hp muscle car, with appropriate TIRES, to catch me in the quarter.

Kristina's camaro is badass.... I've seen it.... beautiful car..... I have no idea what's in it though.....

I like ragging on Muscle car owners because they are usually bald old men with no concept of exactly how little it takes to make a 4cyl considerably more powerful than a V8.

It currently has a 454 bored out to a 468, 5 speed trans swap, etc. It's just a lil guy... :)

Nice setup, especially the 5spd swap. A 468 appropriately built, streetable, and naturally aspirated, at this elevation, should produce in the neighborhood of 500-525.

I've never had it dyno'd, out of curiosity I want to. But, it's enough for me as it is, and I know what once I know a number I will want it bigger. haha.

I put down the stereotypical muscle car owner..... of which I used to be one..... about 15 times over again..... before you were learning how to ride a bicycle.

575 whp in a naturally aspirated BBC would cost nearly $15K in internal engine mods..... the cost comparison is absurd..... and generally the older generation that is unfamiliar with newer, forced induction vehicles seems "surprised" when they see what smaller displacement motors are capable of.

My basis of comparison? A very respectable 12.9 in the quarter considering my mods, compared to numerous 400-425 hp vehicles (newer Hemi Mopars), that generally ran between a 13.0 - 13.3. Also, I've owned a 425 hp 1980 ElCamino with a 396BBC that I alone, shoehorned into that thing...... and my best time was a 13.0. Consequently, I "guessed" that it would take a vehicle of "approximately" 450-500hp (depending on weight) to have a clear, consistent victory. Once again... you started making uneducated statements of "fact", based upon a generalized "guess" that I once said. You're like a stalker.

You seem preoccupied with what "I" said. Apparently, according to your numerous facebook rants, I "supposedly" brag all the time about how wonderful and fast my car is.... and how..... well.... "whatever"... why are you so preoccupied with me? Are you picking a fight? I promise you don't want to do that.

It primarily boils down to the driver.... something else I've been doing since you were in diapers.... Yes, I've beaten a few STIs on the track with more power than me..... I've also BEEN beaten.... which is why I keep going back to improve my driving ability..... not run my mouth off about something I have no involvement in, to instigate something for my own amusement.

It's not some personal vendetta of me vs. him... I could care less. I'm just the facilitator of about 100 complaints before I banned him... and about 30 (so far) since I let him back. Nobody likes this kid... and I keep sticking up for him and letting him back.
