The STI cluster is cool, but there are wires that need to be cut, issues with incorrect mileage, DCCD indicators that don't work.... all kinds of issues that need to be dealt with.

How about one of these if you are looking for something different?

Although I wouldn't buy this.... here's a guy selling his OEM gauge pod, with the indiglo faces already installed. At least you'll know what it "really" looks like:

there are companies that make different covers for guages but i cant think of any off the top of my head. its just an overlay though.

My experience with overlays has left a sour taste in my mouth. I had some in my old car, the relay fried and burned a hole in ,my cluster. Replaced it with a "high quality" unit, and after 2 years it burned out and had to be replaced. Since they left funk on the OE cluster, they either had to be replaced again or replace the whole cluster. Stay away.

You can get some different bulb "condoms" that will change the light color of your gauges and needles. Best part is, you can change with a variety of colors, and it's totally reversible.

IMO, those glow gauges are fugly as hell and are rice tastic, but thats just my opinion

just get an STi cluster and swap it in, it looks the best and works just fine
as far as the lights on, either cover them up, pull the bulb, or ground it out

and the mileage, send it to tacoma speedometer and have them change it
me and kentrik were supposed to buy a EEPROM reprogrammer and try to change a few clusters, but that kinda fell through
maybe ill ask him about it again

after reading your signature i would most definitely say forget that and get an AccessPort (or at least some sort of tune). You're definitely going to want that soon, seeing that you are running a full turbo back exhaust, as well as intake. Get on that pronto, i guarantee it your car is not running well right now.
