So update...the guy is richard and he does excellent work my friends. We had a yellow evo at my shop that had the worst tune ever... And he figured it out and got it working so much better. Granted it was a evo, but still very friendly guy and know his stuff. So if you are skeptical you need not be. He took a tune that was bound to blow the motor and was undrivable and made it safe to drive once again.

He seems like a pretty knowledgable guy. I have been comunicating with him via e-mail about some issues I am having and he has been super helpful. If someone is looking for a tune, but still skeptical, it would be worth while contacting him. I am looking to get a tune here shortly (after I get my oil issue resolved) and was strongly considering him. So if anyone else uses this guy, please post your results. It may be nice to have another choice.

Hes the guy that installed my front mount on my car. he did a good job but the tune for some reason didnt work on my car for unknown reasons.

he made street tune for my car that was suppose to give me 18 pds of boost but im only getting 12. 4th and 5th gear cut out in high rpms.
he did an awesome job on the install but id think for paying 250 for a street tune he would go through the car and find out reason and not just have a customer leave without getting 100% quality.

So you left with an incomplete tune and still paid $250. I would think he wouldn't charge $250 and give a discount if it wasn't legit.

Well it was super late when it was done. Yeah I paid 250 for the tune thru paypal and didnt get any of it back. so now im stuck with a tune that doesnt work until next week when I can get it retuned.

Hi All. My name is Richard Gibby and I am the tuner that has been in discussion.

I would like to first quench this recent dispute
1st The customer was well aware of a mechanical problem that existed in the car of which I gave a solution to resolve the boost issue

2nd he never paid me the $100 he owes me for the blow off valve i sold him

3rd He would never return my TXTs or Calls

I warrentee all my work and have never had an issue with anyone
If you need me to fix the boost issue i can however it is an issue that is related to the mechanical state of the car and would take further time for me to diagnose.

I remember you where there waiting for me to get done with the install and was in a hurry. I tuned the car and there was a boost issue and told you a fix for it

If you want me to resolve an issue how about answering my phone calls and let me fix it instead of posting results that arent 100% accurate.

Asside from this drama.

I have been tuning for some years now and tune many platforms and engine managment.
No i dont have a dyno in the back yard though it would be fun to build a red-neck dyno haha

I use the Dyno out in orem when available and my latest customer car(STI) made 464 whp on a 35r and mild built engine.

I also street tune and have for years

If anyone has any questions or issues please call me at 801-597-0225 and i will help you out the best i can
I can also get good deals from Ralph who is my engine builder and transmission builder

One other thing too is there have been quite a few scammers and kids with tactrix cables out there causing alot of damage to peoples cars. (I have the logs and date stamped ecu .hex files to prove it)

I have offered on NASIOC that i fix these tunes for free and if you dont want a tune i also flash and for those that just want to get tuned at COBB i can put your car in a safe state to get to your tune.

ya you should get a tune on your car after the turboback but its not an all-important thing, your car wont blow up or anything it jsut wont run as well as it could

If you would like I can flash your car and put it into a safe state to hold you off until you want a full tune. With a TBE depending on the vehicle will alter your maximum boost thus creating a lean condition.
