Probably a dum question, but who is Grainger and where can I get one of these? I think I may need a new BCS as well.

I have heard that before...
How exactly does that additional $70 translate to performance gain? Is it just easier for tuning?
Basically, how does one justify spending 3 times as much?

there is no justification. They are they same thing. One is painted is all. Grainger is an idustrial supply. I will post the part number for you. The other difference is. the one has an oem plug. But you can wire it in just fine. its only 2 wires

lol i can justify it because eventually i would like to track my car, and grimmspeed has been tested and proved :) but for $30, sounds like a steal

The stock BCS is a bleed valve type of which is horrible for controlling boost. The GM BCS is an interupt style and is not a bleed valve thus it helps in spool and can control boost much better. I have used the GM BCS with 500+ wheel horse builds. I would also recomend any interupt style BCS though cant offer any results with anything other than the GM and AEM and such.

Also i dont think there is a need for the one with a stock plug intagrated I can install what ever you get and splice the wires.

I assume that you would need a tune with either the Grimm Speed or the Grainger? Where a stock one would just be plug and play?
Where do you get the Grainger? If I understand this all correctly the Grainger and Grimm Speed are essentially the same thing but vastly different in price, Grainger needs to be wired in, and they both are very different from the stock one and much easier to control the boost from..... Is that basically it?
