THAT, my friend, is the question. I'd probably have them by now, but I can't stop swaying from one wheel to another, one offset to another, on color to another...etc. If I ever finally pin down what way I want to go, I will order my wheels. If anyone has some excellent suggestions, I'm all ears.

ok to help with my utter indecisiveness...I will be creating a series of polls to help me decide what wheels to get.

first off, wheel diameter. I have 18's already, but have thought about going to a 17 for these reasons: lighter, easier fitment, cheaper, sometimes i think my 18s look huge

reasons to keep 18s: already have tires (not too big a deal as i can hopefully sell them)

let me know your thoughts

^ i vote 18's. your sti is powerful enough and you are good enough driver to race in race class for lap battle and stuff if you aren't already doing so. i know you get deals on tires already, but with 18's, you can get tons of cheap "used once" tires from mmp after big races.

I like my 17's just because they ride a little smoother and some 18's look overly big. Like there's not enough tire.

17's. But I am partial you know. :headbang:

I wouldn't mind some 18's Dr31 for race but I have my BBS and they work just perfect for the track.

i say 17's but my reasoning is based on looks.. because ive never been to the track or know whats better for the track.. 17's look better imo

17s and meaty tires is my vote.

street wheels, 17's. Race wheels, 18's. It's pretty cut and dry for me...

18" uses less rubber which means less sidewall flex which means better handling. 18" rubber is easy to come by in the take-off pile at major races, all of the rubber having only 2-3 heat cycles through them for practice/ qualifiers. And 17" for street because it's cheaper, has a higher range of uses of tires, and you have more rubber between you and the road for those ******* awesome utah potholes.
