Looking for a exhaust that will pass emissions but still give me the sound and performance I am looking for. Any ideas? Any will it work with my ots map?

this depends on where you are getting your emissions done
if you are getting it done by a friend that doesnt care about cats and only cares about the CEL that will not allow you to pass in the computer, then you can get any exhaust you want

buuuuut, if you are just going to a normal place that is going to inspect for cats and what not, you need to keep the cats in place, but just with a bigger exhaust (use high flow cats)

do you have a buddy that will pass you or just a normal place? that will help us tell you what to do

and not to bash on you, but are you running a 16G with just an uppipe and stock exhaust and stock top mount?

I have friends in that business, but do you get harassed by cops? And my story is my turbo just blew up so I went with a 16g because it was a good deal. and I just got my other parts yesterday. So no my car is not running and I am doing all the install my self. So I am looking for a tmic and exhaust. Hopefully that is all I need for the ots map. Money is tight and I want to make sure I buy the right parts so I only do this once.

with injectors/turbo/bigger intercooler/exhaust you need a custom tune
not an OTS map...you will hate your life

The guys at Cobb said I would not need a custom tune that a ots would work.

So I just got a new turbo back exhaust! 3" and 4.5 tip! And a SPT intake. So my question is, do my car need to be tune? Because, I still have the stock turbo, injetores and itercooler!

yes... You are going to throw a cel if you don't, and won't fully utilize the turboback whatsoever because the ecu will be freaking out.

And to the op, same for you. Your car will run with the OTS map, but why even bother upgrading the turbo if you have no intention or desire to maximize, or even effectively utilize the performance the vehicle is capable of?
